Who We Are

Coolest Guide is an independent discovery and shopping guide published across five localized editions on the en, de, fr, it and es subdomains of coolestguide.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit any of these editions, why we collect it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

Information We Collect

You do not need an account to browse Coolest Guide, and we never ask for your name, email address or payment details to read our content. When a page is requested, our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you view. We use the country reported by the network edge to route you to the most relevant language edition.

When you click an outbound shopping link, we record an anonymous event in our tracking log containing the deal identifier, the referral code (for example a video or article reference), your country and a timestamp. This log contains no name or other directly identifying information.

How We Use Information

We use the data described above to operate and secure the site, to send you to the correct regional edition, to understand in aggregate which deals and articles are useful, and to improve our product selection. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies and Tracking

Coolest Guide uses only the minimal cookies required to run the site securely and remember basic preferences. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on our pages. When you follow a link to a retailer such as Amazon, that retailer's own cookie and privacy policies apply from the moment you leave our site.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Because our tracking log is anonymous by design, we generally cannot associate it with a specific person, but we will honor any request to the extent the law requires.
